Elections
Voting for candidates to become elected YEA members in their districts starts on Monday 2nd December 2024 through to January 2025. Voting will take place in schools, youth clubs and youth groups, libraries across Essex. If you would like to engage in voting in your area please email YEA@essex.gov.uk for your nearest polling station. YOUR VOTE COUNTS!
Every two years, if you are aged between 11 and 19 (or up to age 25 with SEND), you can stand for or vote in the elections for the Young Essex Assembly.
It is there to represent all young people in Essex. Your views and opinions are important. We give young people a chance to have their voice heard, and work with decision makers to bring about change locally, county wide and nationally!
