Portrait of Erin

Hi, I’m Erin from Basildon and I’m 13.  I joined the YEA to give young people a voice. I like netball and art. I hope I will have made an impact for young people in Essex when I leave.

Portrait of Sophie

I’m Sophie from Basildon, I’m 16 and my goal in life is to help people and make a difference. In my school I’m head girl and in my spare time I like being with my friends (and shopping). I have recently been selected to represent Essex in the UK Youth Parliament and I can’t wait to voice your opinions on a national level.

Hey! My name is Sekemi and I enjoy inspiring others through motivational speaking and empowering others. I joined the YEA to continue this and show that us youth have a voice that should be heard. Together, we can make a change to issues ranging from exam stress to a curriculum to prepare us for life. No issue is too small.
